Reston National Golf Course Drives – Summer 2020

Community-wide fundraising and donation drives benefitting Cornerstones

Sponsored by the JS Plank Foundation and DM DiCarlo Family Foundation

For 50 years, Cornerstones has worked purposefully with community leaders, like the JS Plank Foundation and DM DiCarlo Family Foundation, who are deeply committed to building up the strength and stability of Northern Virginia. To help ensure everyone in our community lives a healthy, connected life, the Plank and DiCarlo Family Foundations made a joint $20,000 donation to Cornerstones to support our safety-net and human services programs. 

They are also sponsoring summertime fundraising and donation drives at the Reston National Golf Course, beginning Friday, July 3, 2020. Donations will be accepted Saturdays from 10:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. through August 31, 2020. 

July 3 – July 31, 2020 – Personal Protection Equipment (PPE)

PPE donations will be distributed by Cornerstones to medically, economically, and socially vulnerable neighbors in need of masks, face shields, and gloves.

August 1 – August 31, 2020 – New Backpacks and Schools Supplies

For donations of new backpacks and school supplies, Cornerstones will help equip K-12 children in the Reston-Herndon area for the upcoming school year.
