Host a Friendraiser or drive
Cornerstones welcomes the support of community groups, businesses and individuals who want to organize a Friendrasier and donate the proceeds or items to benefit our programs and services.
Friendraisers
When you are planning a community engagement event or your company is planning a day of giving back – think of Cornerstones. Hosting an event to support Cornerstones is a great way to assist your neighbors in need and invest back in the community where you live, work, play, and serve. Some of the past events include a golf tournament, a wine tasting, a casino night, a concert, a bake/candy/lemonade sale. Use your imagination! Check out our current Friendraiser Events here.
Want to host a Friendraiser Event? Please contact Likitta Crawley, Events & Database Manager, 571-323-9570.
Drives
A drive is a collection of items packaged together to meet a specific need. Drives are a great way for volunteer groups such as scouts, religious organizations, businesses, schools, or individual families and neighborhoods to make a difference right here in their community. Here are some examples: collect baby items as part of a baby shower; at your next birthday party, ask guests to bring gifts of nonperishable foods; ask your coworkers to donate supplies to make welcome home baskets. Click here for Cornerstones’ wish list of items to inspire your planning, or here to see our current drives.
