No one should have to go without a coat
Cornerstones, in partnership with the Hunter Mill District Supervisor’s Office, will support the Hunter Mill District Winter Coat Closet for 2024, which will provide free winter coats, hats, gloves, mittens and scarves to all who need them.
Do you have a coat to donate?
Cornerstones will once again be accepting donations of new and gently used, clean winter coats, as well as new winter hats, gloves, mittens and scarves. Donations may be delivered on the following schedule:
Cornerstones’ Main Office
Monday – Friday, October 15th – November 8th, 9 AM – 4:45 PM
11150 Sunset Hills Road, Suite 210, Reston, VA.
We are grateful for all winter coat donations, but children’s coats (newborn through teen sizes) and very large men’s and women’s coats (sizes 2XL and larger) are especially appreciated.
Please note that due to space limitations, we are unable to accept other clothing for this drive, including (but not limited to) light jackets, sweaters, pants, shoes, boots, snowsuits, and sweatsuits. In addition, we cannot accept used winter hats, gloves, mittens, or scarves.
We also welcome plastic coat hanger donations. We regret that we cannot accept wire coat hangers.
