Thanksgiving Food Drive 2

No One Should Go Hungry During Thanksgiving.

For many in our community with stressed budgets and financial challenges, a Thanksgiving dinner just isn’t possible. Your support of Cornerstones’ annual Thanksgiving Food Drive will help make a fulfilling holiday possible for nearly 1,000 families this holiday season.

Due to the ongoing impact of COVID-19, Cornerstones will be running the Gifts for Kids Drive concurrently with our Thanksgiving Food Drive this year to reduce the number of interactions for everyone involved. All deliveries will be conducted using social distancing measures: donors will drive up and remain in their vehicles while volunteers unload their donations.

Reminder!
We will be accepting donations for the 2020 Thanksgiving Drive at St. John Neumann Catholic Church, 11900 Lawyers Road, Reston, VA 20191, on the following schedule:

Monday – Thursday
November 16 – 19
9:00 AM to 3:00 PM

Friday, November 20 
9:00 AM to 6:00 PM

Why participate?

Employees from Navient gave nearly 6,000 cans and boxes of non-perishable food along with $25 grocery gift cards for families to purchase a turkey or other essential items for their Thanksgiving meal.“Having access to a warm meal is a luxury that most of us simply take for granted, especially on Thanksgiving,” said Brian Lampe, director, Navient. “We are proud of all the hard work and dedication of our employees, and we are grateful to once again have the opportunity to work with Cornerstones to ensure that families in our area will not go hungry on Thanksgiving.”
