Cornerstones hosts three signature seasonal drives that rally our community to meet critical needs for our neighbors throughout the year. Together, these drives provide children and families with essential supplies, nutritious food, and the flexibility to choose what they need most—while helping strengthen food security and family stability in our community.
Back-to-School Drive | January–August
Help local children start the school year ready to learn with new backpacks, school supplies, and hearty, healthy snacks. Your support helps students feel prepared and confident while providing nutritious food to support food security throughout the school year.Thanksgiving Food Drive | September - November
Help families enjoy a Thanksgiving meal with traditional holiday essentials and grocery gift cards. Donations also help us stock our food resources, ensuring nutritious food is available to our neighbors throughout the year. Give families the choice, flexibility, and dignity to purchase what they need most, when they need it. Gift cards help families meet their unique needs during the holidays and throughout the year—from food and household essentials to other necessities for their children and families.
Back-to-School Drive—June through September
Our Back-to-School Drive helps ensure children start the school year prepared, confident, and ready to learn. Donations support students from families facing financial hardship with essential school supplies and hearty, healthy snacks to support weekend nutrition.

Thanksgiving Food Drive – October and November
Our Thanksgiving Food Drive helps families and individuals enjoy a warm, nourishing holiday meal while easing food insecurity throughout the year.
Shop our Amazon Wish List to ship food directly to our food hub or pack and donate a box filled with Thanksgiving essentials with a $25 grocery gift card and drop it at specific times at Cornerstones FREE from Hunger Center (food hub).
Gift Cards for the Holidays – November and December
The holidays can be especially difficult for families, seniors, and neighbors experiencing homelessness. Through our Gift Cards for the Holidays Drive, donors provide gift cards that support our clients during the holiday season and throughout the year, offering the dignity of choice to purchase what they need most—whether that’s food, household essentials, or a special gift
